"I loved Camp Teen. I don't know if you remember Brad and Diana and their cousin Jennifer, But the four of us are really great friends now. I enjoyed Nita for Angel Care retreat. It was wonderful and I am actually keeping in touch with many of the adults that were in that group as well. It is so wonderful to know that I am not alone in this world. But it is also very sad to know that so many people are affected with cancer in their lives.
Im really looking forward to the Angel Golf Spectacular, too. It sounds like it will be so much fun.
Im trying to stay warm. We had no school today because it was too cold and I hope to hear from you again real soon.

"Thank you so much for this camp. I know it means a lot to the campers but it also means a lot to me as a counselor. I never thought anyone would know what it felt like to lose a parent to cancer. Every camp is a healing process for me and I'm so grateful for that (and so is my Mom up in heaven). :O) Thank you again for everything."

"My name is Meghan and I have recently lost my mom to Mylodysplastic Syndrome that is related to Leukemia. She only fought for one year and passed away this July. I am writing because one day when I took her to the clinic for treatment she left with your newsletter and was very impressed at what you are doing with your camps. She said that when she got better she was going to try and volunteer to help others. My mother was a second grade teacher and her heart broke the day she learned that she would be unable to return to school. Thank you so much for lifting my mom's heart, hoping that she may be able to help others that were suffering too. Even though she couldn't be there in person I am sure she is visiting you in spirit."
