Healing Angels is a unique retreat that is custom designed for cancer survivors. It is available to those who have finished their oncology treatments (i.e. chemotherapy and/or radiation), procedures and/or surgeries and are at the gateway of physical and emotional healing. The criteria allows those in the recent and not-so-recent recovery timeframe to participate.
Healing Angels offers opportunities to experience techniques and learn "angel" tips to leading healthy, satisfying and effective lives in their re-entry and adjustment to the cancer-free environment. These rejuvenating two-day retreats will provide a healing atmosphere of love, hope, understanding, learning and pampering for cancer survivors.
Angel's goal is for our facilitators and presenters to guide them along the path of healing to a normal life style and create a sense of community with others who have courageously weathered the cancer experience.
The beautiful Wilderness Lodge and its intriguing Sundara Spa, located in the Wisconsin Dells will be home to these healing havens. Our Healing Angels Coordinators, Nancy and Tom Schuller, Karen Siegmeier and Pastor Bill Trosien have officially posted the "open for healing".
