Lolly Rose's Message

From the Desk of Our Founder/Executive Director

Lolly Rose

With grateful hearts, we applaud each of you… our supporters, our “above and beyond” volunteers, and those who pray with us and for us as we continue to move forward as a family of compassion, concern and care.

One question that I am asked so often is “What is Angel On My Shoulder and what sets this foundation apart from other cancer support organizations?” My response is genuine and simple: “People helping people” - that’s what Angel is all about.”

Angel On My Shoulder is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit cancer support foundation. Angel has no overhead, no administrative salaries and operates totally on a volunteer basis (including our Board of Directors). Our monies come from donations and fund-raising efforts. It is our hope to provide support where other organizations do not direct their focus. We look to fill the void.

Through Angel, I have learned that we each possess the power to give of ourselves. Cancer has a face. In its world it is easy to get lost in the numbers. Although there are many people living with the same cancer, no one lives the same way. We try to embrace each individual’s needs… personally, uplifting and intimate. Love and support are key words.

In that spirit, Angel On My Shoulder passionately continues its journey to improve the quality of life of those living with or affected by cancer. We are pleased to present our programs, services and fundraisers that you will discover throughout this website.

It is my hope that when thinking of Angel On My Shoulder, this tender thought will come to mind… “Heaven sends helping hands and caring hearts just when we need them the most”.

In closing, may the future bring you peace, hope, faith, love and rainbows to follow the clouds.

Take Care and God Bless,

Lolly Rose

This warm and touching message came from a special “Angel Connection”.

The love and caring that you give so freely to others filling your heart allowing you to open the doors of so many hurting hearts to the possibility of healing, loving, laughing… with deep appreciation and love,

Len, Joanie, Brandon & Connor
