A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words

Lisa and Dennis Dewane first read about Angel on My Shoulder through a pamphlet at the Aspirus Clinic in Wausau while Lisa was undergoing chemotherapy for stage 3C colon cancer. They decided to attend a Caregiver’s Retreat in April 2006 and were inspired by the generosity and caring they felt during the weekend. 

Dennis, having been a professional photographer for 20 years, and Lisa, an avid nature and wildlife photographer, reside in Plover Wisconsin. After discussing ways they could help Angel on My Shoulder, and realizing Lolly was in need of a photographer for Angel events, they decided to give back to the one organization that made them feel inspired.  

As the owners of Newdae Photography, Lisa and Dennis now use their talents to capture the special moments that make Angel on My Shoulder an inspiration to thousands of cancer caregivers and survivors. The central location of their studio gives them the latitude to attend many of the events throughout the year and they truly enjoy giving back to those that so generously gave to them in their own time of need.
